Hello, I’m Drew.

Pink Parasol is my independent studio for apps, gadgets, and the things that make life worth living.

About

First and foremost, I’m a father and husband, and after that, I love working with people and computers to build cool technology. I’ve been programming for nearly my whole life and working for big tech and startups for over 25 years.

I’ve been involved in all aspects of computer technology: designing and soldering PCBs, coding for large social media websites, financial modeling and budgetary forecasting for hyperscale datacenter infrastructure, and management of international operations and development teams.

These days, I’m moving away from doing the things that make people rich to the things that make life worth living. You’re more likely to find me at a kid’s birthday party in a Hawaiian shirt, poker night with the buds, at the gym pumping iron, or working on my gadgets than a noisy machine room or open-floorplan office dressed in business casual, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
